Welcome to South Boston Strength. 

My name is Ethan Graves, and I’m the owner and head trainer here at SBS — a premier destination for personal training and fitness coaching in South Boston.

This career started as a passion for me many years ago. Health issues in my family — and in my own life — opened my eyes to the necessity of sustainable health and fitness. What began as a superficial pursuit to build confidence, get more attention in dating, and earn respect eventually became a lifestyle that helped me manage both my physical and mental health.

As I grew in this space, I saw the same struggles in people around me — stress, anxiety, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, low self-esteem, and more. I’ve witnessed firsthand how building a consistent fitness routine and learning how to eat well can positively impact every area of life.

I believe there’s no lever you can pull that will create more meaningful, long-term change than regular exercise and healthy eating habits. My mission is to teach people how to do both — with intention, clarity, and maybe even a little fun along the way.
